This year’s Junior Company Foundation Scholarships are made possible by the generosity of The Fresno Lexus Broadway in Fresno series matching grant program. Mike Gibson, the General Manager for Fresno Lexus, says that the company is honored “to support the Junior Company Foundation as they continue to enrich young people’s lives.”
JCF Foundation Scholarships are divided into two different programs. The first is available to all youth in our Valley for furthering their performing arts training by providing funding and educational opportunities through Good Company Players. The second program is available specifically to any GCP Junior Company Member, past or present, as a Performing Arts Scholarship.
Performing Arts Training Scholarship
For Young Performers of the Valley
The Performing Arts Training Scholarship is available to Fresno-area students, aged 8-20, who are interested in learning tap, ballet, improv, acting, and other theater-related skills through celebrated local and professional artists.
The monies from this award can be applied to an array of different classes happening during the year including masterclasses hosted by JCF as well as classes and workshops offers by Good Company Players. Teachers include local favorites like Kaye Migaki, Emily Pessano, and Teddy Maldonado as well as visiting professional artists.
We release these scholarships several times over the year to coincide with masterclass and workshop start dates. Check back regularly or sign up for our mailing list to be alerted when each Performing Arts Training Scholarship open period is announced.
